Unfortunate Irony of the Day: Six months ago, Alabama man Chance Bothe had a revelation: “I need to quit texting,” he texted (while driving), “because I could die in a car accident.” Bothe then accidentally drove off a cliff.

Fortunately, Bothe’s crash wasn’t fatal — but after a broken neck, skull fractures, and brain injuries, you can bet he’s no longer interested in on-the-go messaging.
