Video Game News of the Day: Old Republic to Allow Same-Sex Relationships

Since its release in 2011, many fans of the Star Wars-themed MMORPG The Old Republic have requested a feature that would allow their characters to have same-gender relationships (SGRs). In a blog postfrom earlier this month, executive producer Jeff Hickman apologized for the delayed implementation of this feature, but revealed that in an upcoming update, some non-playable characters (NPCs) on the planet of Makeb would be able to partake in same-gender relationships.
