Whew, Crisis Averted of the Day: Kindergartener Suspended for Hello Kitty Bubble Gun
In Pennsylvania, a 5-year-old girl was suspended from her kindergarten class at the Mount Carmel Area Elementary School after telling another classmate that she was “going to shoot her” with a bright pink Hello Kitty bubble gun. The girl was initially given a 10-day suspension for “making a terrorist threat,” but it was later reduced to two days and a psychiatric evaluation before she was allowed to return to class.
